I had the pleasure of joining Glen Biegel on the air this morning at KBYR, Anchorage, AK to discuss the Marketplace Fairness Act of 2013 a.k.a the new Internet sales tax. We discussed the salient points of what it means to consumers and businesses across the United States. Click the link below for the 8:53 interview.
A very flattering article appeared on examiner.com today in article by Robert Janis titled, “Ethan Bearman – Geek to talk show host”
“When we think of a talk show host perhaps Johnny Carson, Bill Moyers, or Charlie Rose come to mind. Carson is the consummate entertainer and Moyers and Rose are the perfect journalists who offer tough questions to get meaningful insight. Not many people would consider an IT consultant as a talk show host. Perhaps you should.”
Digital Journal has a nice write up on me called “Ethan Bearman transcending partisanship on talk radio, articles”
Santa Cruz – Will Ethan Bearman become the next big thing in the media? News organizations are starting to take notice of the personality, who began his career in a totally different field: technology. Now he is transitioning to media and rising above rhetoric.
Of the few people who are talented at math and can do IT and have their own consulting firms, few also host their own talk show. However, Ethan Bearman has done all of these things, and he has had a very interesting life so far.
I recently got the opportunity to talk to Ethan Bearman and gain some insight on how he got where he is today.
Joining me in-studio today on KSCO Presents was longtime Santa Cruz civic leader and homeless advocate, Don Lane. We discussed his background, politics in Santa Cruz, homelessness, drug use, crime, and ways forward for the community.
During the interview today I present violent crime and property crime statistics. The can be download in the links below:
