We discussed the fuss over Rachel Beyda, a candidate for a student board position at UCLA who was challenged with the question: “Given that you are a Jewish student and very active in the Jewish community, how do you see yourself being able to maintain an unbiased view?” Do Jews and friends of Israel have a right to speak out and push back on the tide of liberalism?
