The second presidential debate went down last night in St. Louis, Missouri. It was town hall style with the moderators Anderson Cooper and Martha Raddatz attempting to keep things in order, without much success.
Trump supporters will love last night as he went on the attack and said he’d put HillaryClinton in jail. Just like an autocratic, fascistic, dictator. Which is apparently what a number of his supporters want. Someone like Mussolini. They will also defend him saying the moderators gave Clinton more leeway and cut him off more. There is truth to that charge, too. Although Trump interrupted Clinton far more than she interrupted him.
I give Hillary Clinton a B for doing what she needed to do, although she was incorrect on a couple of items. I give Donald Trump a C for an adequate performance, but he wouldn’t answer questions, he would kind of address the question, go off elsewhere, and then maybe come back to the question.
But did it change anyone’s vote? I doubt it.

The Vice Presidential debate went down last night in Virginia. Did you actually watch?
It was a more interesting debate than I expected, and in unexpected ways. Mike Pence, the Republican governor of Indiana remained composed while Tim Kaine, Democrat Senator from Virginia, was unhinged. I think Sen. Kaine took the idea of attack dog a little too emotionally and jumped in far too often and tried too hard to cram in his points. That approach doesn’t work.
Tim Kaine was the Donald Trump of last night’s debate.
Sadly, few of you are able to objectively view the debate and only see it through your partisan lens. Regardless, I doubt any votes changed as a result of last night. What do you think?

Tonight is the one and only Vice-Presidential debate. In the right corner wearing red will be Gov. Mike Pence from Indiana. In the left corner wearing blue will be Sen. Tim Kaine from Virginia.
This is being billed as the substantive debate between two men who have served in both executive and legislative branches. But does substantive mean boring? Or will they make sure to attack the opposing presidential candidate?
It likely will be boring without Gov. Bill Weld from Massachusetts on the Libertarian ticket to mix things up. In order to attract more viewers and present additional ideas to us, he should have been included. Just like Gov. Gary Johnson should be at the presidential debates.
I predict we’ll see a drop from over 80 million viewers for the first presidential debate to around 10 million viewers for this VP debate.
What do you think?

I had the pleasure of joining Jenna Lee on Fox News Channel’s Happening Now on 9/28/2016. I was on the panel along with Joe Carraro a retired New Mexico State Senator, and Dr. Costas Panagopoulos from Fordham University.
We discussed how Independents (No Party Preference/NPP here in California) are viewing the presidential race after the first debate.
I share how I thought neither candidate moved independent voters, why I am an independent, how I think the system is broken, and why I am optimistic for the future!
Please tell me your thoughts below and share with your friends!
The first presidential “debate” is tonight! Donald J. Trump will “debate” Sec. Hillary R. Clinton with Lester Holt moderating.
I use quotes around the word debate, because these aren’t really debates with rules that are followed. No microphone gets turned off when someone goes over time, for example.
Will anything about the “debate” change your mind? Or are these just publicity stunts now where each side will cherry pick what their candidate said while viciously attacking the opposing candidate? And they will all claim poor Lester Holt didn’t do a good enough job?
BTW, where is Governor Gary Johnson and why isn’t he going to be on stage? I think any candidate polling higher than 5% should be included in the debates. That’s the only way we’ll get viable third parties in this country. We really do need more than the broken duopoly which provides us what I think of as a false dichotomy of D versus R.

I joined Fox News Channel’s The Kelly File with host Megyn Kelly on November 11, 2015 to discuss the Fox Business Network GOP Debate (Republican Party Presidential Debate) from the night before.
In this clip I address a question from Megyn Kelly about who we thought won the GOP debate (Senators Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz) and if it changed our vote.
In this clip I address a question from Megyn Kelly about Donald Trump‘s plan to deport 11-12 million illegal aliens with a deportation force.
In this clip I address a question from Megyn Kelly about Carly Fiorina‘s performance, I address it from a California perspective and throw in Marco Rubio’s H-1B problem, finished with a comment about Donald Trump’s debate performance.
Who would pass up a chance to be on Fox News Channel’sThe Kelly File and Red Eye with Tom Shillue? I didn’t pass and joined Megyn Kelly’s post-Republican debate group panel on October 29, 2015 and then Red Eye early on October 31st.
Here are the clips of me speaking on The Kelly File speaking post-CNBC Republican Presidential Debate:
And here is Red Eye with Tom Shillue discussing a dog shooting its owner, Jeb Bush’s problems, oversensitiviy on college campuses, certain people on the left hating that America is great, Half Time with Andy Levy, and music for cats:
